"The
Way It Was" will be a 96 pages – 25 recordings –
visual / audio documentary of the making of That's The Way
It Is. With the support of Turner Entertainment, RCA
Records and Elvis Presley Enterprises, we can now present
Sherif Hanna’s immaculate collection of photos from the
film. The majority of the pictures we have chosen are in
black and white, but there will also be a handsome
collection of colour shots throughout the book. Facts
about all the recorded material will be included in the
book – complete with notations on where each recording
was originally released. The book is printed on top
quality paper, and wrapped in a glossy hard cover. The
format is square - 24x24 cm’s. The CD will be inside the
book. It will contain songs from all of the recorded
events and feature a total of 25 cuts. Only 4 of these
have previously been released, but as RCA has released all
they have from three of the recording dates, we had to
include them if we wanted to have something from each
date."
